My refund policy depends on what you have bought. Please see below for how that applies.
If you cancel your business coaching booking up to 24 hours before the appointment, you will get a full refund for the booking.
If you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment an alternative appointment will be offered, if you don’t want a rebooking then you will not get a refund.
Note – if your booking is on a Monday, you will need to cancel BY the Friday in order to get a refund. A reminder will be sent.
This is because I will not be able to rebook that time slot.
You do not need to give me a reason for cancelling your booking.
Please note – I need you to complete the pre-coaching questionnaire prior to the booking.
If, during the coaching session we decide I can’t help you, I will refund you the full amount of the session. I will ONLY do this if you’ve completed the questionnaire. If you don’t fill out the questionnaire, you waive your right to get a refund if I can’t help you.
Courses are not available yet.
When the courses become available, the following cancellation and refund policy applies
You have the right to cancel and get a FULL refund on the course within 14 days of the course start date. The refund will be given without the need to explain why you want a refund.
The course start date will mean either of the following, depending on the course availability:
When the course is run at limited times throughout the year, the course start date will mean the first day the module of the course becomes available for you to complete.
When the course is available throughout the year, the start date will refer to the date you registered for the course, as this will be the day you have access to the course.
After 14 days, and up to 30 days, a partial refund will be offered. This will be 50% of the course value. 14 days after the course start date will depend on the the availability of the course offered. Please see previous section for an explanation of this.
The partial refund will be given without need to explain why you want a refund.
If you are paying by instalments, the same policy applies. You will not get a refund, or the ability to cancel your payment plan after 30 days.
After 30 days, no refund will be given.
Please read very carefully the course you are signing up for and make sure you know whether it is the right course for you.
Depending on what it is you’ve bought will depend on how you ask for a refund.
Reply to the email address you got with your coaching booking. Please let me know if you would like to rebook.
A link to a form will be given in your registration email, along with a link to this page.
Your refund will be processed as soon as is possible. Currently there is only one person running this business, and that might mean up-to 48 WORKING hours after asking for it.
For example, if you request a refund between 6pm Friday and 10am Monday GMT, your refund will be processed by Wednesday 10am GMT.
How long it takes for the money to get to your account will depend on how you paid. Normally this is 48 hours, in some cases it can take longer. You will be told when the refund has been done so you can check your account for the money.
In the UK our law states that you have the right to ask for a no question refund up to 14 days after you have bought something online. This is called a ‘cooling off period’.
Angels Playing Skittles is registered in the UK and will make sure that this legal right is offered to all customers, regardless of where you live in the world.
These legal rights ONLY apply to online courses, products or materials sold via this website.
They DO NOT apply to my coaching business. Please check the Coaching Cancellation & Refunds section for what the policy is.
You can read more about the UK legal rights about buying online by visiting the gov.uk website.
If you’ve ever been embarrassed to ask for a refund for something, or worry about thinking up an excuse as to why you need a refund, this is why I don’t ask.
As long as the refund policy offered is legal, I don’t think you need to give a reason. You aren’t buying clothes.
While I will not ask you for a reason for cancelling, I will be sending out feedback surveys. These will be completely anonymous and will not be intrusive.
As a business that is centred around helping female business owners give kick-ass online customer service and user research, I have to practice what I preach. To do that, I need to know what the good, the bad, and the ugly is – so I can do better.
Completing this survey is voluntary, but I hope you will as it will help me give a better service.
